The CP-03360 tester comes with a kit that contains the following accessories:

-   1 hard transit carrying case.  As an option, the tester and all of its accessories can fit in the case.
-   1 pair of 2-layer ANSI/ASTM Class 0 gloves, with an inner layer of rubber and outer layer of leather.
-   4 solid stainless steel ground rod electrodes
-   2 long test leads (250 ft ± 10 ft), each on a wind-up spool
-   2 short test leads (75 ft ± 5 ft), each on a plastic holder

The Ground Resistance Tester is an ohmmeter designed for measuring ground resistances.  Ground resistance is important for the protection of electronic equipment and personnel that operate the equipment.  In general, the lower the resistance, the safer.  A properly installed grounding system reduces noise, protects from lightning and unsafe potentials, and allows circuit breakers and surge protection devices to work properly.

The CP-03360 is designed to be a portable unit which works well in rugged environments and yet is suitable for laboratory or bench-top applications.  The tester has five ranges to cover resistance values from 2 OHM to 20K OHM which are selected automatically.  With this tester, 2-point, 3-point, or 4-point method for measuring ground resistance can be used.  Explanations of these methods are discussed the manual.
